  Shanghai Xian Dai  Architectural Design  (Group) Co.,  Ltd, jointly formed in March 1998 by East China Architectural  Design  &  Research Institute  and  Shanghai Institute of Architectural Design & Research which have a long history of almost 50 years and glorious achievements,  is a modern scientific  &  technological  enterprise majoring in architectural design. By now ,  it has more than 20 sub  professional  organizations  and corporations. In 1999,  the Group  was ranked 2nd  place among The  Top 100 prospecting & design firms in China in terms of total operations;  in 2003, the Group was ranked first place among design firms in  China  in  terms of total design revenue; the group was ranked among The Top 200  International Design Firms or The Top  150  International Design Firms  for  continuous 5 years from 2001 to 2005 as ranked by the US magazine ENR  (Engineering News Record).
  XDHJ was developed as the first corporation in East China   Architectural Design Institute.   After the group’s  creation  in  1998,  it became as a corporation who  is  specializing in  design  and  general  contracting  of project. Today,  the corporation is regarded as sub-companies  of  Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design Group which with largest scale and its income excesses 100,000 thousand RMB every year. In recent years,  the company has finished   a  series  of  huge projects such  as  Hongqiao Railway Station, Shanghai Culture Square;   Sixteen Pu Area Integrated Alternation, Shanghai Expo  Executive  Center  and  so  on,  providing high  quality  engineering consultancy service for projects in Shanghai and other areas in China.
